Horwath offers condolences on loss of an Ontario child to COVID-19

QUEEN’S PARK — Official Opposition NDP Leader Andrea Horwath released the following statement in response to confirmation that a child in the Waterloo region has died with COVID-19:

“All of Ontario is holding the family and loved ones of this precious little one in our hearts today. While the depths of pain and grief are unimaginable, we all share in their sorrow. Our hearts are shattered for them.

I hope the family and loved ones of the child are able to find some comfort in each other, in their warm memories, and in knowing that millions of Ontarians hold them in their thoughts today.”
